Prof. Yitzhak Mastai heads a multidisciplinary research group focused on advancing the understanding of chirality at the nanoscale. The group explores the fundamental principles and emerging applications of chiral nanomaterials, with particular emphasis on their unique physicochemical properties and their potential impact on fields such as nanotechnology, photonics, catalysis, and targeted drug delivery.
By integrating experimental approaches with theoretical insights, the research aims to reveal novel chiral phenomena and develop innovative nanoscale systems with enhanced functionality and performance. Through this work, the group contributes both to the fundamental scientific understanding of chiral materials and to the development of advanced technologies with broad industrial and biomedical applications.
Our research continues to push the boundaries of nanoscale science, opening new directions for the design and application of functional chiral materials in next-generation technologies.
